YR solves complex business problems and focuses on humans
11 years experience of product design in both FAANG, starups and agency
Hello! I’m YR.
Having 11 years of experience in big firms (Meta, Hopper, WeWork) and startups, I see design as a framework to illuminate the essentials and define the critical points systematically more than just coming up with a beautiful solution. I'm passionate about defining the right problems and delivering effective business solutions.
Moreover, I advocate for inclusion everywhere - from the smallest design projects to global-scale products. It’s my mission to ensure people benefit from technology and get empowered without being constrained by the level of digital literacy.
Outside of my project work, I led Disability@Meta APAC. Grown to advocate publicly for an underrepresented demographic in over 10 events, both internally and externally, raising awareness to incite change and promote inclusion since the Disability@Meta APAC was established in 2020.
As a future enabler, I’m fascinated by the ideas of AR/VR and the crypto industry. I started to create my own AR effects when I saw the values that AR/VR can create, together with the wave of forming decentralized societies and technologies.
Writing and sketching are my ways to experience, connect, and influence the world. I own a Facebook page and Instagram account “Cyborg Lady: My New Journey with Cochlear Implant” to share my stories after getting bilateral cochlear implants in 2021.
